In 2024, the HR team took a bold step forward by introducing AI into their talent processes — not as a technology initiative, but as a people-first transformation. 

The Challenge 

Like every large corporation, Spuerkeess faced several familiar challenges: 

  • Limited transparency around internal career opportunities 
  • Growing need to retain and develop top talent  
  • Lack of objective tools to assess soft skills and development potential
  • A requirement for full compliance with data protection and regulatory standards  

The HR team wanted to create visibility, spark self-reflection, and support employees in proactively shaping their careers — without relying on traditional career models or static assessments. 

A New Starting Point: The Internal Job Fair 

In early 2024, Spuerkeess launched its first Internal Job Fair, reaching:

  • 25 departments showcasing roles and career paths   
  • 30+ workshops for inspiration and guidance 

One key element was the introduction of Zortify personality assessments — giving employees hands-on access to AI-supported tools designed to help them explore their strengths and development potential.
